RAWANG 12 September 2012. Yap Kon Song 56 earn money by knitting rattan chair. He lost the right leg at the age of 14 crushed by the stone when he followed his parents to find ore. He is the fourth child of nine siblings and now lives with his younger brother and sister who suffer from mental illness since childhood. By supporting them, he went to the town to find customer and sent a repaired rattan chair to customer. He learned rattan knitting skill when he worked in a sawmill at the age of 27, due to the higher cost of living, he quitted his job and find his own customer. With the help from Social Welfare Department is not enough to ease his burden of life. NSTP / Chan Wai Yew
